Dr. Younis Kazim has over 17 years' experience in Vascular Surgery.
He holds memberships in European Society of Vascular Surgery, European Society of Surgery and Surgical Research and German Society of Vascular Surgeon.


  • Dr Younis Mohammed Amin Kazim has over 20 years’ experience in Vascular Surgery. 
  • He holds memberships in European Society of Vascular Surgery, European Society of Surgery and Surgical Research, and German Society of Vascular Surgery.
  • Dr Younis, after his degree in Medicine and Surgery from Cairo, Egypt, underwent Internship and Residency training for 4 years from 1984 to 1988 in Dubai Health Authority, followed by post-graduation FACHARZT in General Surgery in 1994 and specialization in Vascular Surgery FACHARZT in 1995 from Germany.
  • Dr. Younis started his surgical career as a Specialist Registrar, Vascular Surgery, Rashid Hospital in May 1996 and due to his exceptional surgical skills, he was promoted from SSR (June 1997) to Consultant (May 2001), and since March 2002 is the Head of Vascular and is the Medical Director of Rashid Hospital since June 2006.
  • Establish of vascular unit in Dubai and Department of health 1996, as independent unit, as pioneer vascular service in UAE.
  • Establishment of many new department while working as Director medical affair, as Geriatric unit 2006, General internal Medicine2012 Ward doctors.
  • Share in Hospital accreditation JCI 3 time : 2007, 2010 and 2013 Rashid Hospital, a 599-bedded, JCIA-accredited Dubai Govt. Hospital, and is one of the premier medical facilities for emergency, trauma, and ambulatory care and is the most prominent and reputable emergency and trauma centers in the Gulf region.
  • Al Gharbia Hospitals as Chief Medical Officer of the region, covering 6 hospitals and 4 peripheral clinics till date, involved in establishment of many services for the new hospitals in Gayathi and Sila, expansion of service in Liwa hospital, and restructuring medical affair for the region. 
  • In Madinat Zayed hospital particularly, establishment of cath. lab service and other subspecialties services.
