She had special training in Operative Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic Procedures, Urodynamic, Colposcopy, Prenatal Diagnosis and Infertility at Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, England and Royal Maternity Hospital Belfast, Northern Ireland (1992-1995).
She started Laparoscopic operative surgeries at SMC in Bahrain, and managed to train most of the doctors over there.
Dr. Al-Ojaimi participated formally in teaching Medical students at the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, Kingdom of Bahrain, Arabian Gulf (1996-2004). And at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI Bahrain), Kingdom of Bahrain, Arabian Gulf in 2009. From 2010 till date, she is working as Associate Professor at Dubai Medical College for Girls, Dubai, UAE.
Dr. Al-Ojaimi has published many scientific papers in different national and international journals, and presented around 60 papers in both national and international courses and Conferences.
She is a member of several professional societies and committees including: British Medical Ultrasound Society in UK, Cancer Control Committee in Ministry of Health (MOH), Kingdom of Bahrain, Quality Assurance Committee in MOH, Bahrain Osteoporosis Society in Bahrain, International WHO’S WHO of Professionals in USA, Burwin Institute of Ultrasound in Canada ( Asian& Middle East Branch), and Specialty Training Committee in Obst & Gynae in Dubai Health Authority.
