With more than 30 years of experience in Emergency and Critical Care, Dr. Hussain Al Rahma carries with him a wealth of information and experience in the field of medicine and healthcare management from both within and outside the UAE. He has held various leadership positions in prominent medical establishments within UAE including Head of Emergency and Critical Care Department, Head of the Intensive Care Department, Head of the Disaster Management Committee and Founder President of Emirates Intensive Care Society.

- German Board Certified in Internal Medicine, University Khinikum, Essen, Germany
- Founder of Emirates Critical Care Conference (ECCC)
- Founder President of Emirates Intensive Care Society (EICS)
- A Founding Member of the Emirates Resuscitation Counsel
- Board Member of WINFOCUS
- Board Member of WFSICCM
- Board Member of GSA
Additionally, Dr. Hussain holds a position as a Professor in DMC and is the founder of the Emirates Critical Care Conference (ECCC) which has been running since 2004 and has now become a benchmark of critical care conference around the globe. He has also contributed to writing Books and Guidelines of Critical Care Management and is a member of numerous local as well as international hospital committees and medical societies.
