Dr. Gaurav Muktesh

Dr. Gaurav Muktesh is a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, with an impressive track record of performing over 10,000 endoscopic procedures and more than 2,500 endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures. He earned his MD in Internal Medicine from Delhi University and completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship (DM Gastroenterology) at the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) Chandigarh, a renowned 2,000-bed tertiary care academic center of international repute. He was also a Gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy fellow at Academic medical Center, Amsterdam which is a world renouned center of excellence.

Dr. Gaurav has also served as faculty at PGI Chandigarh, where he mentored aspiring Gastroenterologists. His areas of expertise include Endoscopic Ultrasound (both diagnostic and therapeutic) and Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), an advanced, incisionless endoscopic procedure for treating Achalasia, a rare swallowing disorder. Dr. Gaurav Muktesh is among the few specialists in the UAE offering this cutting-edge treatment. He is also an expert and has extensive experience in managing complex inflammatory bowel disease patients including ulcerative colitis/crohns disease, and other common gastrointestinal disorders.
