Dr. Ahmed Allam is a distinguished neurosurgeon with a remarkable academic and professional background. He graduated from Cairo University, Egypt’s largest and the Middle East’s oldest university, in 2003. Dr. Allam completed his residency program in 2008 and earned his master’s degree in Neurosurgery. In 2012, he obtained his Doctorate in Neurosurgery and Spine Surgery, subsequently serving as a Lecturer and then Associate Professor at Cairo University.
Dr. Allam has pursued numerous fellowships and advanced training in Complex Spine Surgery, Skull Base Surgery, Pediatric Neurosurgery, and Robotic and Computer-Assisted Image-Guided Surgery. His training spans prestigious institutions across Germany, Italy, Turkey, Switzerland, Egypt, and the USA. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Mohamed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences and serves on the education boards of international institutes, conducting courses for renowned medical companies like J&J, Depuy Synthes, Brain Lab, and Stryker.
With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Allam is recognized as an expert in his field on both national and international levels. He specializes in Complex Spine Revision Surgery, Spine Deformity and Scoliosis, Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, and Spine Tumors for both adults and children. His expertise also extends to Pediatric Neurosurgery and Brain Tumors, with more than 3,500 documented major surgical procedures. Dr. Allam is proficient in modern Navigation, Augmented Reality, Robotic, and Image-Guided Surgery.
Dr. Allam has been practicing in the UAE for the past 10 years, contributing significantly to both public and private prestigious institutions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
An active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) in the USA and the North American Spine Society, Dr. Allam has published extensively in academic journals and has been invited as a faculty member at numerous international neurosurgery and spine surgery conferences and courses.
