Dr. Rita A. Sakr is a highly accomplished Consultant Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon and Obstetrician-Gynecologist with over 20 years of international experience across France, the United States, and the UAE. She is French and European Board-certified, and an American Fellow, with extensive expertise in breast cancer surgery and women’s health.

Dr. Sakr completed her advanced training in leading institutions in France and the USA. She held prestigious positions at renowned centers including Institut Curie in Paris, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, and Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris.

Academically, she served as Associate Professor at Pierre & Marie Curie (Sorbonne University), where she also co-led the Breast and Gynecology Care Unit dedicated to high-risk patients.

Throughout her career, Dr. Sakr has combined clinical excellence with strong academic and research contributions. She has authored over 100 publications and abstracts in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences and has received several international awards, including recognition from the American Association for Cancer Research and the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.

In addition to her surgical and academic work, Dr. Sakr is deeply committed to patient advocacy and has been actively involved in breast cancer awareness and survivorship initiatives across Europe, the USA, and the UAE.
