Dr. Afshin Iranpour is a Consultant Anesthesiologist at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai with extensive experience in anesthesiology, perioperative medicine, regional anesthesia, and critical care medicine. He has been practicing in Dubai for more than 13 years, providing safe and comprehensive anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties.

His clinical experience includes anesthesia for bariatric, laparoscopic, thoracic, pediatric, obstetric and gynecologic, orthopedic, cosmetic, urologic, trauma, and head and neck surgeries. He is also experienced in off-site anesthesia for procedures such as MRI, endoscopy, ERCP, cardioversion, and ESWL.

Dr. Iranpour’s areas of interest include ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, difficult airway management, acute pain management, obstetric anesthesia, enhanced recovery protocols, and perioperative patient safety.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Iranpour is actively involved in medical education and scientific research, with more than 35 peer-reviewed international publications in anesthesiology, critical care, perioperative medicine, and pain management. He is also a certified BLS Instructor by the American Heart Association.

Dr. Iranpour has also participated in international humanitarian surgical missions in Ghana and Kenya, where he provided anesthesia care and supported medical education in resource-limited settings.
