Dr. Taghreed Almahmeed

Dr. Taghreed Almahmeed is an American board-certified surgeon and member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. In 2016, after a decade of hands-on practice across the United States, she joined the AZHD team as a Consultant General Surgeon and distinguished member of Al Zahra Cancer Center’s multidisciplinary tumor board for breast cancer patients. Dr. Taghreed specializes in breast surgery and oncoplastic breast procedures with minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Taghreed sheds light on breast cancer by spreading awareness throughout women’s communities, empowering her patients with knowledge, and guiding them to recovery with dependable support and compassion. In addition to breast surgery, she is equipped with experience across varied surgical specialties—including general, bariatric, laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Taghreed is uniquely able to build personalized treatment plans in conjunction with her broad scope of expertise that caters to patients’ individual lifestyle goals. It is with an unyielding drive to restore every patient’s health and hope. She has led innovative clinical research, been published in several peer-reviewed journals, and devised an approach focused on care.
