Dr Vikram Hundia is a Consultant Endocrinologist and the Lead Clinician at Al Zahra Hospital Dubai since 2013. Prior to joining Al Zahra, Dr Hundia had over 17 years of extensive experience in the UK including working as a Consultant Physician in Diabetes/Endocrinology in well-known NHS hospitals. He completed his Specialist training in Endocrinology from UK, having worked in leading tertiary centers and university hospitals like the Leeds General Infirmary, St James University Hospital and Royal Victoria Infirmary.
He has a number of publications in peer reviewed journals and poster presentations in Endocrine meetings. He has participated as a speaker in various local, national and international meetings both in the UK and the UAE. He regularly attends both national and international meetings and likes to keep himself up to date with the new developments in the field of diabetes and endocrinology.

- Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes in adolescents and adults including uncontrolled complex cases with or without diabetes related complications (diabetic kidney disease, diabetic neuropathy and foot ulcers, diabetic retinopathy, diabetes and cardiovascular complications)
