Dr. Taher Mohamed Ali is a distinguished European Board Certified Neurosurgeon with more than 14 years of experience in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex brain and spine disorders in both adults and children.

He completed Brain and Spine Endoscopy Fellowships in Germany, is AO Spine Fellowship Certified (Germany), and is an AO Spine Diploma Holder (Switzerland). He has also undergone multiple advanced fellowships and specialized training courses at renowned neurosurgical centers in Germany.

After completing his medical degree and Neurosurgery residency at Cairo University, Dr. Taher earned both his Master’s Degree and Doctorate (MD) in Neurosurgery in 2019. He subsequently served as a Lecturer and Consultant Neurosurgeon at Cairo University Hospitals and several leading private hospitals in Egypt.

In 2023, he started working as a Neurosurgeon at Tawam Hospital and Sheikh Tahnoon Medical City (STMC) before joining Al Zahra Hospital Dubai.

Dr. Taher has performed hundreds of neurosurgical procedures annually and has extensive expertise in brain endoscopy, complex brain surgeries, skull base and pituitary surgery, brain and spinal tumors, hydrocephalus management, minimally invasive spine surgery, spinal endoscopy, traumatic brain and spine injuries, pediatric neurosurgery, and robotic-assisted spine surgery.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Taher has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications in leading international neurosurgical journals and serves as a reviewer for several prestigious neurosurgery journals.
